A mythical figure throughout the ages, the Cheongryong (청룡) , Blue Dragon of the East, embodies strength , wisdom and protection in Korean tradition. A celestial guardian and master of the elements, he controls the waters, brings beneficial rain and watches over the balance of the world, guiding those who aspire to elevation.

A powerful mythological heritage

In legend, the Cheongryong rules over spring, driving away darkness to make way for light. Its breath awakens nature, symbolizing rebirth , prosperity , and transformation . It is the guide of courageous souls, those who dare to move forward despite hardship and reach their full potential.

At his side, the Baekryong (백룡) , the White Dragon of the North , represents purity and spiritual clarity . This dragon embodies spiritual elevation, self-control and absolute wisdom, bringing gentle but powerful protection.

An inspired collection - between earth and water - between power and delicacy

Through this collection, Sarang Porcelain pays homage to these mythical figures. Each dragon is hand-modeled in white or mass-tinted porcelain, revealing protective postures, undulating bodies, and meditative gazes.

Anne Lopez reinvents these dragons in a contemporary language, between sculpture and poetry.
