The Hwarang Hummingbird is an exceptional piece handcrafted in the Sarang Porcelain workshops. This delicately modeled hummingbird pays homage to the nobility of spirit and discipline of the Hwarang , young warrior-poets of ancient Korea, whose proud and haughty posture is subtly reflected in the attitude of the bird.

Made from mass-dyed porcelain, this sculpture was entirely handcrafted using the artisanal techniques specific to the Sarang Porcelain workshop. After modeling, it underwent biscuit firing, revealing a matte texture and a soft feel, close to stone.

Every detail, from the stylized plumage to the inclination of the beak, embodies grace, lightness and silent power.

A contemplative work that combines aesthetic finesse and symbolic depth.
